About

Levasil® CS40-316 P is an alkaline, aqueous dispersion of colloidal silica suitable for coating applications. It is used as inorganic binder, surface modifier and flocculating agent. It has a shelf life of at least 18 months.

Benefits:

  • It contains approximately 40% solid by weight
  • It is sodium stabilized, and the amorphous silica particles carry a surface charge
  • The silica particles are discrete with a smooth and spherical shape
  • It is present in wide particle size distribution
