About
Iscaguard® DMD is a preservative recommended for personal care applications.
Benefits:
- It is a versatile and water-based ingredient
- It is based on 1,3-Bis(hydroxymethyl)-5,5-dimethylimidazolidine-2,4-dione (DMDMH)
- It has a broad, balanced spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts, mold, and fungi, with good headspace protection
- It is free from paraben, and thiazolinone
Typical Applications:
Suitable for shampoos, shower gels, creams, lotions, O/W & W/O emulsions, wet-wipes, oral and lip care products. It is used in leave-on and rinse-off applications.
