The company uses a proprietary approach to turn Sargassum – long considered waste – into materials that can restore soils and oceans, eliminate micro-plastic waste, and achieve carbon neutrality. The company produces a range of products from agricultural extracts to bio-leathers and personal care ingredients.

Safic-Alcan is a French independent distributor of specialty chemicals headquartered in Paris La Défense (France). The Company develops and provides wide ranges of polymers, materials and additives for the rubber, coatings, adhesives, thermoplastics, polyurethane, lubricants, detergency, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals industries.
