Safic-Alcan Marks 10 Years of Strategic Presence in Bulgaria
Safic-Alcan is proud to celebrate 10 years of successful operations in Bulgaria, a key milestone in its ongoing strategy to expand its presence in Eastern Europe and reinforce its commitment to local markets.
This decade of activity stems from the partial acquisition of Chimsnab in 2015, a move that enabled Safic-Alcan to consolidate its position in the Performance Products, and Life Sciences sectors across the region. Over the past 10 years, the Bulgarian team has played a critical role in building long-term relationships with suppliers and customers, delivering tailor-made solutions, and maintaining the company’s reputation for technical excellence and reliability.
To mark this anniversary, CEO Yann Lissillour and Executive Committee member Dr. Matthias Pfaffernoschke visited the Ruse office, where they were welcomed by General Manager Georgiy Dimitrov and the local team. The event honored the team’s achievements and emphasized the importance of local leadership in driving Safic-Alcan’s regional strategy.
The celebration included a showcase of Bulgarian cultural traditions, including local cuisine and folk performances—reflecting Safic-Alcan’s appreciation for local identity and the strength of its multicultural network.
