About
DYNASYLAN® 2101 is an adhesion promoter and primer suitable for coating applications. It has a shelf life of minimum 12 months.
Benefits:
- It is a 100% active ureidosilane
- It contains no organic tin compounds and no toxic carbamates above the declaration limit
- Exhibits dual reactivity nature which allows it to bind chemically to both inorganic materials and organic polymers
- Offers improved mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and modulus of elasticity
- Provides improved resistance to moisture and corrosion
- It lowers the tendency of coloring effects during storage
- Helps in better filler dispersion which allows highly filled compound formulations
- Shows lower VOC emission
- It hydrolyses to form reactive silanol in presence of water and methoxy (Si-OCH3) groups
- Soluble in water, alcohols, ketones, esters and aromatic hydrocarbons
- Listed under AIIC, IECSC, EINECS/ELINCS, KECL, PICCS and TSCA
Typical Applications:
Ideal for paints and varnishes.
