Surfactant designed for the cosmetic industry. In its neutral state, it acts as an emulsifier and viscosity modifier, improving formulation thickening. It is suitable for body wash liquid and hair care products (shampoo, conditioner, leave-on and treatments).
Benefits:
- When acidified, it has conditioning properties for skin & hair, is easily water-soluble, and ideal for rich, creamy formulations
- It does not create build-up on hair upon prolonged use and does not reduce foam
- Improves wet & dry hair combing, and enhances hair shine
- It controls hair volume and reduces frizziness
- Can be combined with cationic surfactants to improve the feel of the washed skin or hair
