Silopren™LSR 2742 is a two-component liquid silicone rubber for injection molding.
Benefits:
- It shows primer-less adhesion to predominately polyesters such as PBT but also a wide range of substrates (e.g. engineering plastics, metals) without adhesion to mold during manufacturing
- Offers lower viscosity, good tear & aging resistance and a higher reactivity
- Provides excellent thermal stability, high flexibility at low temperatures, stability to ozone and ultraviolet light
- Exhibits good rubber-like properties, long service life under dynamic stress, and a shorter cycle time
- It has excellent dielectric behavior over a wide temperature range
- It is not readily combustible and does not melt or drip
- Easily pigmentable with LSR color pastes
- Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, BfR listed, KTW approved
Typical Application:
Suitable for the manufacturing of soft/rigid combinations out of engineering plastics and LSR e.g. sealing elements, membranes and shower heads.
