Natrosol™ 250 HXR is an excipient suitable for pharmaceutical applications. It is a non-ionic water-soluble cellulose ether.
Benefits:
- The quality of the solution is unaffected by high concentrations of other solutes
- Suitable for solutions and gels to control rheology
- Easily dispersible in cold or hot water to give solutions of varying viscosities and desired properties even though it is insoluble in organic solvents
Typical Applications:
It is used as film former in film coatings, suspension aid, tablet binder and viscosifier in syrups.
