About
Niax™ Silicone L-818 is a silicone surfactant suitable for polyurethane applications.
Benefits:
- Exhibits excellent foam processing latitude and reduced low molecular weight siloxanes content
- Offers fine, even cell structure and helps improve foam yield
- Delivers reduced density gradients in very high blocks
- Provides FR performance equivalent to Niax Silicone L-618
- Applies to very low-density foams, where large amounts of auxiliary blowing agents act to destabilize foams during production
- It helps produce high-quality foams for furniture and bedding while maintaining low emissions of volatile siloxanes
Typical Applications:
Recommended for flame retarded polyether flexible slabstock foam formulations.
