SURLYN™ 9520 is a high-performance Surlyn ionomer resin from Dow, based on an ethylene acid copolymer and engineered for multi-process thermoplastic applications. Suitable for blow molding, injection molding, and sheet extrusion, it enables the production of a wide variety of shapes and sheeting with consistent mechanical performance. Beyond standalone processing, SURLYN™ 9520 also serves as an effective impact modifier for polyamide (PA) and polymer alloys, enhancing toughness in composite formulations. Its compatibility with conventional polyethylene processing equipment makes it a practical and versatile choice for plastics converters and compounders.
