BENAQUA® 6000 is a rheological additive based on hectorite clay. Designed for construction products. Shelf life: 2 years.
Benefits:
- Easily dispersible powder
- Provides high viscosity in the low- to medium-shear-rate region
- Offers superior sag resistance at low package viscosity
- Improves shear-thinning rheology in formulated products and has excellent suspension
- It also improves workability and open time in mortars
- Allows potential reduction in binder level due to improved adhesion
- Provides excellent open times to achieve an “E” derogation in accordance with ISO13007
- Promotes better bonding between tiles and substrates
- Certified to ISO 9001 quality standards
Typical Applications:
Recommended for stucco and cement-based plasters (pool plaster). It is especially useful in dry/cementitious systems where water is added prior to use.
