TECOPEEK® PK40: Carbon Fiber Reinforced PEEK
TECOPEEK® PK40 CR40 BK111 GX is a high-performance carbon fiber reinforced PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) grade, engineered for the most demanding engineering plastics applications. Reinforced with 40% carbon fiber, this black-colored thermoplastic delivers exceptional stiffness, compressive strength, and dimensional stability under extreme mechanical and thermal loads. Compared to unfilled PEEK, the 40% carbon fiber reinforcement significantly increases tensile modulus and reduces creep, making it the material of choice for structural components in aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and high-load industrial machinery. Its inherent chemical resistance and continuous service temperature above 250°C further extend its suitability across aggressive operating environments.
