PAT-ADD RHEOL 112 is a rheology modifier suitable for aqueous systems. Shelf life: 24 months.
Benefits:
- Develops KU and high low-shear viscosity with a strong shear thinning rheology
- Interacts with polymeric binder particles which result in formation of a network, characterized by showing a high degree of pseudoplastic flow
- Has optimized brush/ roller loading and anti-drip properties
- Provides excellent in-can structure and flow performance
- It is ready for use, VOC-free and easily workable
- May be used in conjunction with Pat-Add RHEOL 306 for high shear balance
- Reduces risk of roller spattering during application
- Forms a pseudoplastic profile which enables high layer thickness, while maintaining ease of application
Typical Applications:
Designed for low up to high PVC dispersion paints. Recommended for water-based emulsion paints for interior and exterior applications for flat and semi-gloss formulations. It can also be used in high-build architectural coatings.
