SURLYN™ 9320 – Surlyn Ionomer Resin for Injection Molding, Sheet & Blow Molding

SURLYN™ 9320 is a high-performance Surlyn ionomer resin from Dow, engineered for demanding thermoplastic processing applications. Based on an ethylene acid acrylate terpolymer with a methacrylic acid (MAA) comonomer, it delivers exceptional impact resistance and flexibility thanks to its very low glass transition temperature (Tg). Compatible with conventional polyethylene processing equipment, SURLYN™ 9320 is well-suited for injection molding, sheet extrusion, and blow molding, making it a versatile choice for manufacturers seeking consistent performance across multiple forming techniques. It also serves as a high-performance impact modifier for polyamide (PA) and polymer alloys, enhancing toughness without the need for anti-block or slip additives. With a density of 0.960 g/cm³ and a melt index of 0.8 g/10 min, SURLYN™ 9320 offers reliable processability and mechanical performance across a wide range of industrial applications.
