BENTONE GEL® VS-5 PC V is a rheological additive suitable for cosmetic and toiletries applications. It has a shelf life of minimum 2 years.
Benefits:

- It is specially prepared dispersion of an organically modified hectorite in volatile silicone (pentamer)
- Shows rheological control and suspension to organic- and silicone-based cosmetics
- Provides shear-thinning, predictable, reproducible and thermostable viscosity control of the emulsion’s oil phase
- Imparts non-abrasive and smooth feel to skin
- Offers silkiness and enhances skin-feel by masking tacky and greasy components
- Acts as an alternative to traditional polymer or cellulose-based thickeners for stabilizing emulsions
- Emulsion stabilization W/O and O/W
- It is optimally pre-activated and dispersed organoclay
- It can be incorporated with medium-shear mixing
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and EFfCI GMP certified
- Approved under the RSPO Mass Balance system
Typical Applications:
Ideal for emulsions, facial makeup, eye makeup, antiperspirants, creams, lotions, sun care and lip care applications.
