Corum 5081 is an emollient used in cosmetic applications. It is suitable for lipsticks, foundations, creams and lotions. It also acts as oil soluble moisturizer. It is the vegetal monoester of cholesterol and hydroxystearic acid. It is similar to intercellular lipid and has water-holding capacity.
