Viton™ GF-600S A is a peroxide cured, 70% fluorine fluoroelastomer with a gum polymer viscosity.
Benefits:
- Based on new advanced polymer architecture (APA) and FWRD technology
- Enables high performance in the most critical applications without the use of a fluorinated surfactant during production
- It is a terpolymer of hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride and tetrafluoroethylene with a cure site monomer
- Possesses excellent physical properties and high elongation, both original and aged in standard compounds and in formulations with no or low filler, even after aging
- Provides excellent fluid resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons and alcohols, including methanol and ethanol, biodiesel, oils, hot water and steam as well acids
- It is compatible with latest EV fluids and common battery electrolytes
- Offers excellent storage stability and outstanding compression set resistance with either low or no post-cure
- It is suitable for blending with Viton™ GF-200S A to reach intermediate viscosity ranges for injection molding
- Improves green/tear strength in extrusion and molding
