Paris-La Défense, December 12th, 2025 - Safic-Alcan, a leading global distributor of specialty chemicals, announces a new strategic distribution partnership with Polytechs to strengthen its polymer solutions offering across Europe, excluding Germany, Italy, Poland and the Republic of Türkiye.
Through this agreement, Safic-Alcan becomes Polytechs’ distribution partner in the covered European markets, reinforcing its positioning in the plastics industry with specialty additive masterbatches and purging compounds. The partnership enhances Safic-Alcan’s ability to support customers with reliable product availability, local commercial presence and strong technical expertise.
Polytechs will continue to design, manufacture and innovate across its full portfolio, including its Peroxide masterbatch Flow Xpress®, purging compounds Clean Xpress®, Cling Masterbatch PW, Blowing Agent Masterbatch XW serving demanding applications in Flexible Packaging, Wire & Cable, Pipe & Tube and broader polymer compounding and extrusion industries. Safic-Alcan will act as the primary commercial interface, managing quotations, order processing and logistics, while working in close coordination with Polytechs’ technical teams to support customer developments.
The transition to this new distribution model will be managed jointly by both companies to ensure business continuity and a seamless experience for customers. Dedicated Safic-Alcan contacts and updated ordering procedures will be communicated progressively across the concerned regions.
