PROTECTOSIL® WA CIT is a corrosion inhibitor. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
Benefits:
- It is a waterborne emulsion which is based on a multifunctional silane system
- It can effectively protect embedded steel reinforcement against chloride induced corrosion
- It can chemically bond to rebar surface and cement matrix
- Reduces drying shrinkage of concrete
- Listed under REACH, PICCS and TSCA
Typical Applications:
Ideal for steel reinforced concrete and prefabricated concrete elements. It can also be used in two component concrete repair mortars according to EN 1504-2 or EN 1504-7. It is also recommended for building materials which are exposed to high chloride environments such as sea water or de-icing salts (e.g. marine constructions, harbors, parking garages, tunnel or highways).
