Silicone fluid recommended for textiles and leather industry. It is suitable for vegetable-tanned leather & fur, hand modifier with hydrophobicity for leather used in furniture, handbags and garments. It can be used for modifying thermoplastic and thermosetting resins with silicone hybrid.
Benefits:
- Provides durable waterproofing to chrome-tanned leather
- Shows good reactivity with chromium salts of tanning agent
- It is readily emulsified for leather wet-processing
- It may be compatible with organic fat-liquors typically used in leather wet-end processes
- It enables smoother & softer feel, with little to no yellowing and discoloration of leather
