About
Preservative concentrate used for the treatment of leather intermediates, metal finishing and metal working fluids. It is suitable for chrome tanned leather (wet blue), non-mineral tanned leather (wet white), and vegetable tanned leather.
Benefits:
- Exhibits chemical stability in acid pH- range (1-6)
- It is dilutable in glycols and partly soluble in water
- Improves the anti-mold protection offered by other fungicidal compounds, e. g. phenolic based active ingredients
- It is used during the manufacturing process and subsequent storage
- Recommended dosage level is 0.02-0.05% (calculated on pelt weight) for chrome & chrome-free tannage and 0.05-0.08% (calculated on pelt weight) for vegetable tannage
