CHR-52 is a natural carmine colorant suitable for nutraceutical applications.
Benefits:
- It is a fine, bright red powder with high tinctorial strength
- Produced by extraction of carminic acid from the cochineal insect (Dactylopius coccus Costa), followed by conversion into the water-soluble Ca–Al chelate of carminic acid
- The major coloring component is carminic acid
- GMO-free and palm oil-free
- Certified according to FSSC 22000
- Complies with EU Regulation (EU) No. 231/2012 and its amendments
