Silopren™LSR 4640 is a two-component liquid silicone rubber.
Benefits:

- Exhibits high reactivity, low viscosity and high tear strength with shorter cycle time
- Provides excellent thermal stability and low cyclic content
- Offers high stability to ozone and ultraviolet light
- It is sterilizable with ethylene oxide, steam and gamma radiation
- Enables long service life at dynamic stress
- The viscosity values measured according to DIN 53018 at 20°C and a shear rate of 10 s⁻¹ are 320 Pa-s for part A and 290 Pa-s for part B
- It is biocompatible according to USP CLASS VI and ISO 10993
- Listed in BfR recommendation XV “Silicones” and LII “Fillers”
- Compliant with 21 CFR 177.2600
Typical Applications:
Recommended for production of parts for healthcare devices such as variety of molded fluid and drug delivery device components, respiratory masks, sterilization mats, diaphragms, o-rings and infant care applications.
