Lubricant used in rubber compounds like polychloroprene. It is a mixture of calcium soaps and amides of saturated fatty acids.
Benefits:
- Improves flow properties and mold release
- Displays reduction of viscosity and decrease of sliding friction when in contact with metal surfaces
- Offers slight activating effect on the cure rate of sulfur-containing compounds
