Vulcanization activator used for masticating natural rubbers like other soluble zinc soaps. It is composed of zinc 2-ethylhexanoate (67%) and silica (33%).
Benefits:
- Offers processing advantages and good dispersion
- Can partly replace stearic acid in synthetic rubbers like SBR and NBR
- Reduces stress relaxation & creep and compression set at low temperatures
- Improves building tack and dynamic properties
