NIAX™ CATALYST LC-5629

Niax™ Catalyst LC-5629 is an organotin catalyst used in delayed-action urethane applications.

Benefits:

• Provides exceptional cavity filling in high-density microcellular systems through delayed gel time
• Offers greater hydrolytic stability than standard DBTDL, extending pot life
• It reduces the rate of viscosity increase in elastomer systems
• Delivers final cure times at elevated temperatures equivalent to those typically achieved with a more potent tin catalyst
• Also offers moderate activity upon initiation for improved flow in long-flow applications, along with snap-cure performance at the back end

Typical Applications:

Suitable for one-shot elastomers, microcellular foams for shoe soles and automotive applications, reaction-injection molding (RIM) systems, and mechanically frothed foams.
