About
C*PharmMaltidex™ M is a sweetening, bulking and suspending agent for solid dosage applications. It also acts as a taste masking, bodying and anti-crystallizing agent. It is also used as an emollient and humectant in topical creams and emulsions.
Benefits:
- Contains a high proportion of the disaccharide maltose
- It is non-cariogenic and extremely stable against crystallization
- It is produced by the catalytic hydrogenation of liquid glucose
Typical Applications:
It is suitable for use in gelatin capsules and medicated chewing gum. It is also used in sugar-free pastilles and liquid dosage formulations, including sugar-free solutions and syrups.
