PAT-ADD LE 1020 is a leveling and substrate wetting additive. It is also a highly efficient surface tension modifier, effective at very low dosages. Shelf life: 24 months.
Benefits:
- Provides flow, leveling and gloss optimization
- Exhibits wide range compatibility
- Reduces risk of pigment float and coefficient of friction (COF)
- Effective in epoxies, PUR, acrylics, polyester industrial paints and inks
- Demonstrates excellent substrate wetting, preventing craters and pinholes
- Provides poor substrate wetting on critical substrates such as improperly cleaned substrates and low surface energy substrates
- Offers excellent coating surface smoothness
- Delivers slip and mar resistance
- Counteracts pigment float and foam stabilization
Typical Applications:
Recommended for solvent borne and solvent-free coating formulations. It is suitable for both pigmented and clear paints.
