Thickening agent for both oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions. It is also used as a structuring agent for silicones. Suitable for formulating color cosmetics (lip products, foundations, BB and CC creams, concealers, eye shadows and primers) and skin care products (day and night creams, daily wear SPF, body lotions, creams, and butters). It is also used in sun care (after-sun products, sunscreen creams and lotions and sunscreen balm) and hair care products (leave-on and rinse-off conditioners, hair masks and styling products). It is a high melting point wax, polysiloxane functionalized with C30-45 alkyl group.
