Silplus™ 40 HS is a one-component, heat cured silicone rubber (HCR) based on peroxide catalyst system. It has a shelf life of 730 days.

Benefits:

  • Possesses high strength, enhanced mechanical performance, low hysteresis and high resilience
  • It is a ready-to-use, one-component resin
  • Exhibits low compression set, high clarity and good processability
  • Offers rapid cure times and relatively low odor during fabrication
  • It can be processed by injection, compression & transfer molding, extrusion and calendaring
  • Conforms to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for indirect food contact, USP Class VI, ISO 10993 part 6, 10 & 11 testing and BfR XV requirements

Typical Applications:

It is suitable for consumer goods, electrical/electronics, energy and healthcare. It can also be used in automotive, aviation and aerospace.
