About
AEROSIL® R 974 V is a densified hydrophobic fumed silica for use in coating applications. It is also used as an anti-settling agent to stabilize pigments and enhance corrosion protection. Shelf life: 2 years.

- Offers water-resistance, rheology control of liquid systems
- Improves and maintains the free-flowing and anti-caking properties of powders
- Provides improved incorporation and handling under sufficient shear forces
- Its large surface area contributes to enhanced thickening, improved thixotropic properties, and increased transparency
- TSCA, DSL, AICS, ENS, IECSC and KECI registered
Typical Applications:
Suitable for offset printing inks, coating polymers and paints.
