RICON® 156
Provided by Cray Valley
About
RICON® 156 is a polymeric type II coagent and non-extractable plasticizer suitable for rubber applications. This low molecular weight, high vinyl homopolymer of butadiene resin is used in peroxide, sulfur-cured elastomers and thermoplastic resins. It is a processing aid and used in olefinic-based elastomers, saturated and unsaturated elastomers for curing.
Benefits:
- Offers high reactivity, excellent hydrophobicity and dielectric properties
- Exhibits low temperature flexibility, abrasion resistance, reduces blooming effects
- Delivers good hardness, scorch protection, good compression set
- Provides excellent crosslink densities, high tear strength
- It also provides low viscosity, good reactivity and excellent processing characteristics
Typical Applications:
Designrd for wire, cables, electronics and rubber applications. It is suitable for electrical insulator, encapsulants, sealants and thermoplastic modification.
