ACRYSOL™ RM-5000

ACRYSOL™ RM-5000 is a nonionic hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier used in water-based coating applications.

Typical Applications:

Used in overprint varnishes, traffic paints, gloss paints, lacquers, interior wall paints, and industrial coatings such as wood, furniture, and metal coatings. Recommended for use in industrial baking enamels, general industrial finishes, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), architectural, interior and exterior coating applications. Suitable for high-opacity, high-build coatings on exterior mineral substrates requiring improved hiding and excellent exterior durability.
