EMULSION E-1018

EMULSION E-1018 is a 100% acrylic emulsion polymer suitable for thermosetting factory coatings.

• Ensures very good pot-life of the finished paint
• Offers excellent long-term durability, especially color retention and gloss retention

• Compatible with a wide range of other acrylic emulsions
• Tailor adhesion and flexibility for specific substrate and end-use application requirements

• Enables cross-linking by incorporation of water-compatible melamine condensate resins
• Rapid cross-linking of coil coatings without a catalyst accurs when the coating surface reaches 230°C or higher

• With suitable catalysis, cross-linking can begin at 135-150°C, provided sufficient peak surface temperature is achieved
