RHOBARR™ 135

RHOBARR™ 135 is an anionic acrylic barrier coating emulsion.

Benefits:

• Offers excellent barrier to hot oil, grease and blends of fatty acids

• Provides excellent resistance to hot block, flexibility and good repulpability

• Possess good stability when blended with inorganic pigments such as clay, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide and talc

• It also shows good stability when blended with water soluble polymers such as starch, PVOH or rheology modifiers

• Good performance can be achieved by using binder-rich coating formulations in applications where fatty acid resistance is important

Typical Applications:

Designed for paper, paperboard and packaging applications. It is also suitable for aqueous coatings or printing methods.
