DOWSIL™ 9041 Silicone Elastomer Blend is a silicone elastomer blended with a low viscosity (5 cSt) dimethicone. It also acts as a thickening agent. Shelf life: 24 months.
Benefits:
- Similar to DOWSIL™ 9040 Silicone Elastomer Blend, but contains a non-volatile dimethicone instead of cyclopentasiloxane
- It is non-flammable and not tested on animals
- Provides a silky, smooth feel in formulations
- It offers a long-lasting skin feel
- It provides thickening in anhydrous and w/o emulsion formulations
- It can be used in either hot or cold processes
- Irradiation-, BSE/TSE-, GMO-, Palm oil- and Preservative-free
Typical Applications:
Recommended for skin care, color cosmetics, antiperspirant and deodorants.
