Film former used in tires & bladders and metal dies such as aluminum die casting. It can be used as a component in polyurethane mold release formulations and as a surfactant to help stabilize PVC plastisol foam. It is a colorless solution of a silicate material in an aromatic solvent.
Benefits:
- Offers uniform release properties throughout the mold and is effective at low concentrations
- Provides increased durability of release effect & good heat resistance and is easy to formulate
- Soluble in a variety of solvents and several silicone oils
