DOWSIL™ 8500 is a conditioning agent suitable for cosmetic applications. Shelf life: 18 months.

- It can be used for clear and opaque products
- Free-from animal-derived and vegetable- derived ingredients
- Provides excellent compatibility with cyclopentasiloxane and isododecane
- Offers superior conditioning, color protection and easy to formulate
- It is both hot and cold processable
- It can be added at the beginning or the end of formulation process
- It is easy to microemulsify and does not require any solubilizer or suspending agent
- It also provides smooth feel with strong wet and dry detangling
- GMO-, emulsifiers- and preservatives-free
Typical Applications:
Recommended for clear and opaque conditioning shampoos, colorants (semi-permanent and permanent) and leave-in conditioners (detanglers, anhydrous serums, hair masks, mousses, etc). It is also suitable for anhydrous systems (fixatives, leave on, etc) and aqueous systems (rinse-off conditioners).
