DOWSIL™ HMW 2220 Non-Ionic Emulsion is a conditioner suitable for cosmetic applications. It acts as a viscosity builder for water-in-silicone systems.

- It is a 60% non-ionic emulsion of a very high viscosity polydimethyl-siloxane/vinyl copolymer
- Exhibits small particle size and superior foam profile
- Provides ease of formulation and suitable for cold processing
- Compatible with non-ionic, cationic and anionic surfactants systems
- It is not tested on animals
- Imparts rich feel to skin care formulations
- Possesses wash-off resistance and film barrier properties
- Offers superior skin feel and increased fragrance intensity
- It also provides prolonged fragrance release and hair color retention
- It imparts good wet/dry-detangling and smoothness without weighing hair down
Typical Applications:
It can be used in skin care and body wash applications including skin creams, facial cleansers and shower gels. It is also suitable for hair care applications such as shampoos, rinse-off & leave on conditioners and styling products.
