Surfactant used in cosmetics such as body wash liquid and hair care products (shampoo, conditioner, leave-on and treatments). In its neutral state, it acts as an emulsifier & viscosity modifier and improves formulation thickening.
Benefits:
- When acidified, it exhibits conditioning properties for skin & hair
- It is easily soluble in water and ideal for rich, creamy formulations
- Improves wet & dry hair combing, and enhances hair shine
- It does not create build-up on hair upon prolonged use and does not reduce foam
