Diluent developed for direct compression, capsules, powder formulations as well as wet and dry granulation. It is used as protective covering in ointment formulations and base for dusting powders. It also acts as disintegrating agent at 3 -15 % w/w and binder for wet granulation if cooked at 5 – 25 % w/w . Shelf life: 24 months.
