Diluent and coating agent developed for capsules, direct compression, powder formulations as well as wet and dry granulation. It is used as excellent binder in direct compression, wet and dry granulation. It is used in oral nutritional supplements and as carrier for spray-drying of active substances. It acts as viscosity increasing agent and crystallisation inhibitor in liquid dosage preparations. Shelf life: 18 months.
