Binder and diluent in direct compression and granulation. It is also used as diluent in capsule and powder formulations. It is suitable for oral nutritional supplements and as carrier for spray-drying of active substances. It acts as viscosity increasing agent and crystallisation inhibitor in liquid dosage preparations. It is used as coating agent for solid dosage formulations.Shelf life: 18 months.
