Glidant designed for solid dosage forms and emulsions. It is suitable for very hygroscopic and cohesive powders. It is used as viscosity adjusting agent for thickening of non-polar pharmaceutical oils. It acts as a stabilizer for water in oil (W/O) emulsions. It can be used to adjust release behavior of active ingredients. It is hydrophobic colloidal silica. Shelf life: 2 years.
