Acid scavenger & dessicant used in rubber and elastomers such as EPDM and silicone. It is suitable for automotive such as sealing systems, hoses and gaiters and construction including rubber flooring and roofing. Shelf life: 24 months.
Benefits:
- It is a masterbatch consisting of ultra-fine particles of calcium oxide powder bound in EPDM
- It is suitable for extrusions and in continuous pressure-less vulcanization methods (e.g. UHF, LCM or Hot-Air Vulcanization)
- Neutralizes free acid and prevent corrosive impact on metal parts
- It gives excellent mixing and dispersion
