Eclipsogen OC is an organic UV-B filter with activity in UV-A II region suitable for cosmetic applications. It is a highly effective photostabilizer for Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane. Shelf life: 2 years.
Benefits:
- In the manufacture, benzophenone is reacted with Ethyl cyanoacetate in presence of ammonium acetate followed by distillation
- It is an excellent solubilizer for solid organic UV filters such as AVOBENZONE and BENZOPHENONE-3

- It is substantive to the skin, thereby enhancing the water resistance of formulations
