Safic-Alcan Opens South African Subsidiary
Paris-La Défense, July 6 2020 – Safic-Alcan is pleased to announce that it has formed a new subsidiary, Safic-Alcan Southern Africa for servicing the South African market and its neighbouring countries, effective immediately. Safic-Alcan Southern Africa is based in Johannesburg and will manage warehousing locally.
In order to support the new office, Safic-Alcan hired its first employee, Mr Ronald Marshall, who will be responsible for the Sales & Development.
Mr Marshall, a polymer engineer, will hold the position of General Manager and will initially be in charge of the performance products market in Southern Africa (CASE, PU, Rubber and Plastic). Prior to his current position, he enjoyed a long experience in technical, sales and business development with renowned companies such as Kluber Lubrication and Dunlop Africa.
