Meet Laura MAMECIER, our Sales & Marketing Director for Pharmacy, Nutrition & Health, as she unfolds her professional journey at Safic-Alcan and shares her passion for sports.
Introduce yourself... When did you join Safic-Alcan? And Why?
I joined Safic-Alcan in June 2012, 11 years ago as Pharma Sales Manager. I was amazed by the diversity of the pharmaceutical portfolio we could offer to our customers: APIs covering many different therapeutic areas, Excipients, and lots of services confirming great added values.
How do experience your relationship with other collaborators, partners, principals, or customers?
At Safic-Alcan, each of our pharmaceutical teams has extensive technical, quality assurance and regulatory expertise. We are all keen to giving our best support to Producers such as Lactalis, which is launching a brand-new range of Lactose Pharmaceuticals: Lactalpha®.
How do you spend tour free time beyond work, and are there any entertaining stories you can share from your experience at Safic-Alcan, perhaps a fun memory from that time?
I love spending time with my family, especially my daughter, my son, my husband, our cat and our dog. I've also been very sporty since I was very young, I love swimming and playing badminton. I also love running and we had some great memories with Safic training for an Ekiden race with our colleagues. I also like walking (and talking while walking), so our Think Pink Together was a great experience with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
How do you try to incorporate Safic values of Commitment, Differentiation, Ethics, Trust & Reliability, Sustainable Development, Teamwork, Transparency in your day-to-day work?
Our customers and suppliers need to work with Safic in complete confidence and transparency, especially in the Pharmaceutical world. Our entire pharmaceutical team has the same spirit and the same objective: to bring added value to our customers and suppliers.
How will the partnership between Safic-Alcan and Lactalis Ingredients Pharma contribute to innovation and advancements within the pharmaceutical industry?
France's first fully-integrated Pharmaceutical Lactose supplier is now on the market, and it's an honor for all the Safic Pharma teams to be promoting the Lactalpha range, who are very happy and enthusiastic about this new collaboration. With the advanced facility and integrated raw materials resource of Lactalis Ingredients Pharma, we are making notable strides in providing the pharmaceutical industry with reliable lactose, ensuring consistent availability.
