Lemon Balm Extract is used for its mood uplifting, fever reducing, sedative, anti bacterial, anti-anxiety, spasmolytic and cognitive function booster effects.
The natural chemical constituents of this extract are known to be flavonoids (quercitrin, rhamnocitrin) and hydroxycinnamic acids (Rosmarinic acid, caffeic acid). Rather than its sedative and anti-anxiety effects it used to relieve minor gastrointestinal complaints, asthma, coughs, migraine headaches and toothaches.
It is produced appropriate to European Pharmacopeia and supplied with an Active Substance Master File with a GMP certificate that enables it to be used as a pharmaceutical ingredient.
