RDB Plastics

RDB plastics GmbH, established in 2003, is one of Europe’s largest plastics recycling and trading companies. Specializing in the purchase and sale of secondary plastics, the company handles an annual turnover of approximately 400,000 tons of plastic scrap. With over 120 employees across five locations, including Aukrug (headquarters), Duisburg, Aschersleben, and Koper (Slovenia), RDB operates a total of 60,000 m² of operating area. The company’s product portfolio includes various types of plastic materials, such as LDPE, PP, PS, PET, HDPE, PVC, and other engineering plastics.

Giving plastics a second life begins with the collection, analysis, and sorting of end-of-life materials, including small and large objects, films, and purges. These are shredded and ground in our workshops. Supply sources are secured and stabilized to ensure a consistent flow of materials. Polyolefins (PE, PP) form the foundation for the production of most compounds. However, the high-quality on-site laboratory and stringent process controls enable us to meet specific requests for the production of compounds made from other material combinations.
